Tina O’Brien’s husband Adam Crofts reveals how the actress' young daughter brought them together
Tina O’Brien’s new husband Adam Crofts has revealed how the pair were originally introduced by the actress’ young daughter, Scarlett.
The couple, who married at a surprise ceremony in Manchester in December, got engaged in 2016 after five years together.
Adam has since opened up about how it was Tina’s young daughter who first brought them together.
During his speech at their New Years Eve wedding, the gushing stepdad shared the touching story of how the newlyweds were introduced by the actress’s daughter Scarlett, who was only two-years-old at the time, reports OK! Magazine.
‘We should all say a big thank you to Scarlett,’ said the 33-year-old, ‘because she is pretty much the reason we’re all here today.
‘Scarlett is the first one who approached me in Starbucks when she was about two-and-a-half years old, ice cream all down her face and said: “Hello, man,” and Tina soon came scuttling after her!’
‘To the Crofts!’ added the businessman and rugby player. ‘We’re married! We did it! I just want to say how much I love you and how incredibly lucky I feel to be your husband.’

Tina shares 10-year-old Scarlett with ex-partner and former Coronation Street co-star Ryan Thomas, who last year opened up about living apart from his daughter.
The 35-year-old bride also shares four-year-old son Beau with new husband Adam.
‘In the run up to the wedding, Beau had been going into nursery and marrying all the girls in his class!’ said Tina. ‘All he talked about was us getting married. He got married to two girls one day. I don’t think his brides realised he was a bigamist!’
‘I found the idea of everybody looking at me quite nerve-wracking,’ added the mum-of-two. ‘But I was just so happy to see Adam, Beau and Scarlett all dressed up.’
‘It was amazing. We had the best day!’
‘It’s amazing to finally be husband and wife.’
