Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien marries partner Adam Crofts
She was surrounded by her fellow co-stars
Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has wed her long-term partner Adam Crofts, entering 2019 as a married woman!
Tina O’Brien and her long-term partner Adam Crofts have tied the knot in a magical New Year’s Eve ceremony.
The couple have been engaged since 2016 and share one child together, three-year-old Beau. Tina is also mum to 10-year-old Scarlett, who she shares with fellow soap star and Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan Thomas.
Tina is perhaps best known for her role as Sarah-Louise Platt in the popular ITV soap Coronation Street.
It’s no surprise therefore that she was surrounded by several of her co-stars on her big day, having joined the show when she was just 16.
The mum-of-two’s on-screen mum and brother Helen Worth and Jack P Shepherd were among those who attended. Lucy Fallon, Mikey North, Colson Smith and Julia Goulding are also thought to have attended the secret ceremony in Manchester.
Tina took to Instagram to confirm her happy news and posted a picture of custom-made glow box from her ceremony.

In the caption she explained: ‘Happy New Year! Starting 2019 as a married woman, what a man I’m married to... @adamcrofts you inspire me every day.
Sexy, smart, funny, kind and compassionate are just a few of the attributes your new wife has .. ahh just kidding you’re all of those things and more 😘 Thank you @myglowbox1 for my gorgeous Christmas present to mark the occasion.’
Tina and Adam met eight years ago and got engaged after five years of dating. Adam got down on one knee in a hotel in Manchester, the city the couple live in and therefore it’s a lovely touch that it is also the city they tied the knot in.
Speaking about the proposal to OK! Magazine at the time, Tina gushed: ‘My heart was hammering, I opened the door and Adam was standing there in his shirt and all smartly dressed. There were candles all around the room and flowers and petals on the bed in the shape of a heart.
‘He immediately got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He said lots of lovely words but I can’t remember any of them.’
