Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter splits from long-term fiancé Rudi Coleano
Lucy Pargeter confirms split from partner Rudi Coleano after 12-year engagement.
Emmerdale actress, Lucy Pargeter, best known for playing Chastity 'Chas' Dingle in the ITV soap, has announced her split from fiancée Rudi Coleano.
Lucy and Rudi have been engaged for over 12 years, but never got round to tying the knot.
The pair have three daughters together 13-year-old Lola, and two-year-old twin girls Missy and Betsy via IVF treatment.
A spokesperson confirmed the news with the statement: ‘Lucy Pargeter has confirmed she has separated from her long term partner Rudi Coleano and while no longer together their main priority is raising their three daughters.’
Though engaged for 12 years, plans had not been made for the pair to take their nuptials. However, they did come close in 2012 while holidaying in Dubai.
Speaking to The Sun, the soap star said at the time: ‘We were in Dubai about a month ago and we said: 'Sod it, while we're here, let's do it'. Then I thought all our mates would be like, 'Oh cheers, thanks for the invite.’'

After 11-years of fertility struggles, the 42-year-old actress conceived twin girls in 2017 following IVF treatment.
Lucy recently revealed she'd hoped to give the treatment another go, as the pair still had two embryos frozen.
Lucy said: ‘We still have two frozen embryos but I can guarantee they will be more girls. Mind you, most people say that when you go from two to three children, it’s a massive difference, so three to four might not be that bad.’
After the birth of her twins, the actress admitted that having a perfect post-baby body is ‘unrealistic’ for celebrities.
Lucy told The Mirror: ‘I'd rather be the reality of someone who has just had a child than the unrealistic version some people portray.
'I don't look how I used to – there are a few things I'm not happy with – but right now my - children are my priority and I come second.
‘I don’t do the gym. I don’t have time, and if I finish work I’d rather play with the kids for half an hour, lift the two of them up and do my arms that way.’
The sad news of the split comes just one week after Lucy was awarded Best Actress price at the 2019 British Soap Awards.
