Made in Chelsea’s Louise Thompson cancels wedding to fiancé Ryan Libbey
Louise Thompson has announces she has cancelled her upcoming wedding to Ryan Libbey, who she intended to marry in December.
The 29-year-old Made in Chelsea star got engaged to personal trainer and long-term boyfriend Ryan in August last year during a romantic holiday to Los Angeles for Ryan’s birthday.
The gorgeous couple were set to tie the knot in December.
However, despite booking a venue for their wedding, the pair have called off plans to take their nuptials until the ‘time’s right’.
Louise revealed to Celebrity Secrets: ‘We had a venue booked for Christmas, so of course we’ve had to cancel that.’
She continued: ‘I hadn't bought my dress, though. I’ve had designers approach me to work on a dress, and that’s something I’ll do when the time’s right.’
‘That’s the easy part – finding a dress, organising the catering and finalising the guests.

‘It’s just the bigger picture for myself and Ryan that we need to get to grips with first.’
Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine, Louise’s brother Sam Thompson confirmed the pair are very much still in love.
He said: ‘Their business is going really well at the moment and they started it after they got engaged.
‘They’re happier than ever at the moment.’
As they postpone the nuptials, Louise and Ryan do seem to be taking the next big steps in their relationship with the introduction of latest family member pup Koji.
Ryan took to Instagram yesterday to share an emotional post about their new pup.
He wrote alongside the post: ‘I never thought I’d be so soppy or affectionate about a dog. But this little dude means the world to me.
‘When Louise and I got Koji, it was the next big step in our relationship. Forcing us to Adult Up and show some capacity to look after something else other than just ourselves.
‘I’d go as far to say that Koji hit the lottery with us as his parents. He lives THE LIFE. But in truth, our lives would not be the same without him.’
The couple, who have been together since 2016, were engaged in August 2018 while hiking in Los Angeles.
Speaking about her engagement, Louise said: ‘It’s the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life.
‘Ryan and I have known that we want to spend the rest of our lives together for quite a long time.
‘I love him more and more every day, which sounds so clichéd, but it’s the truth.’
After Ryan popped the question, Louise admitted: 'I’m still shell-shocked. I’ve been crying solidly for three days. It’s the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life.’
