Hollyoaks stars Luke Jerdy and Daisy Wood-Davis are engaged
Luke Jerdy shared the big news that he’d proposed to Daisy Wood-Davis on holiday via Instagram, sharing some sweet photos with his fans.
The Hollyoaks stars took to their social media pages to announce the exciting news, sharing a series of sweet pictures too.
It’s not just any ring either, it was revealed that Luke designed it himself!
Luke’s post read ‘αυτή είπε ναι 🇬🇷 (she said yes) 💍 @daisy_wood_davis is going to be my wife. I’ll take that.’
Daisy took to Instagram too, sharing the same sweet photos as Luke, including a close-up of the ring. Her caption read: ‘On Thursday evening @lukejerdy asked me to marry him by the beach in front of my family. I’ve never felt a happiness like this.’
‘It’s so surreal but nothing has ever felt more natural. I can’t wait to marry my best friend and celebrate how lucky we are to have found what we have. Not to mention, he designed me the engagement ring of my DREAMS.
‘I have spent the last few days staring lovingly at him and the ring in equal measure (maybe more the ring 😜) Let the celebrations commence! 💍❤️’

The couple met on the set of Hollyoaks, quickly becoming inseparable. Daisy played Kim Butterfield on the soap from 2014, before leaving in 2018 after her character went on the run.
Luke joined a couple of years later in 2016 to play Jesse Donovan, Grace Black’s half-brother.
Fans and friends naturally couldn’t wait to congratulate the duo, taking to the comments sections of their separate posts to do so.
Fellow Hollyoaks stars Nadine Mulkerrin, who announced her own engagement earlier this year, Chelsee Healey and Jessica Fox, commented, writing: ‘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️’, ‘So happy for you both 😭❤️’ and ‘Amazing news!! Congratulations guys! Xxxx’.
Former X Factor, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here and Dancing On Ice star Jake Quickenden also congratulated the pair, writing on both of their Instagram posts.
Big congrats to Luke and Daisy!
