Made In Chelsea's Louise Thompson announces engagement to Ryan Libbey
Congratulations!
Made In Chelsea's Louise Thompson has revealed that she's engaged to long term boyfriend Ryan Libbey.
The couple, who've been together since 2016, announced the lovely news on OK! magazine and revealed the proposal happened during a romantic getaway to Los Angeles for Ryan's birthday.
Speaking about the engagement, Louise told the publication: 'I'm still shell-shocked. I've been crying solidly for three days. It's the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life.'
'Ryan and I have known that we want to spend the rest of our lives together for quite a long time. I love him more and more every day, which sounds so clichéd, but it’s the truth.'
Describing how he proposed, Louise explained that Ryan asked her to go on a hike, but she initially said she was tired and that they also had dinner plans.
Thankfully she finally agreed to go, and they went on a hike where Ryan found private paths off the track, where he found the perfect spot to get down on one knee and pop the question. Speaking about how she felt when Ryan proposed, Louise said she felt like she was about to faint.
Ryan said: 'I said something like: "I’ve had the best birthday ever, but there’s one more birthday wish that I’d like. Will you marry me?"'

The personal trainer, who gave Louise a promise ring last Christmas, says he's been planning the proposal for four months: ‘I’ve been on a secret mission for so long, with this ring hidden in my backpack for weeks. Every time we were going through airport security I weed myself.'
The pair first met in 2015, when Ryan gave her a personal training session, and started dating in 2016 after Louise ended her relationship with Alik Alfus.
