Corrie favourite Catherine Tyldesley has shared the first snaps of her big day with fans.
Catherine, who is famous for playing Eva Prince in Coronation Street, tied the knot with her partner Tom Pitfield at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire. The blonde beauty looked absolutely stunning in the gorgeous portrait she shared.
The snap, which was featured in Hello! saw the newly-weds joined by Catherine's co-stars Shayne Ward and Jane Danson, who play Aidan Connor and Leanne Battersby alongside Catherine in the hit ITV soap.
Apparently Shayne, who was a singer before he joined the set of Corrie, serenaded Catherine, Tom and their guests with his version of butterfly kisses, a song by American country singer Bob Carlisle, at the reception.
He told Hello! magazine: 'Cath asked me to sing it for her only a few weeks ago. I'm so happy and honoured I was able to do it for her.'
Catherine had two dresses for her big day - one for the church and one for her reception. The first was a gorgeous traditional floor-length gown that was designed by Philip Armstrong and the second was an ivory silk dress made by Mark Melia.
Speaking to the magazine, newly-married Catherine spoke about the wedding, saying: 'It was my dream come true. I had been looking forward to this moment for so long. Tom and I are very traditional and it was important for us to show our deep commitment to each other.
'The night before I was so excited that I could hardly sleep for thinking about it, and when I walked in, the sight before me blew me away.
'It was picture perfect. There were scented candles and beautiful flowers - and most importantly of all, there was Tom.'
And it wasn't just Catherine who was gushing about her nuptials. Her now-husband Tom was also enthusiastic about the couple's special day. He said of Catherine, 'She looked so beautiful. This lady changed my life the moment she walked into it.
'She is the most caring and beautiful woman I've ever met.'
Tom and Catherine first met in March 2014 where their love of fitness brought them together. Tom is a personal trainer and the pair met in the gym, as Catherine is well known for being a fitness enthusiast.
As new-parents also, it's all go for the couple. They welcomed their 14-month old son Alfie just late last year!
