Rapper Cardi B has confirmed split from husband Offset amid cheating rumours

Cardi B and Offfset announced the birth of their first child in July of this year, and today the new mum confirmed the couple have split.

Taking to Instagram, the 26-year old musician, broke the news with a video. Sharing a candid clip with her 36.5m followers she told fans that it was ‘nobody’s fault.

Cardi B captioned the video with: ‘There you go, peace and love’.

The new mum went on to say: ‘So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now.

Cardi B went on to explain how they’re really good friends and business partners before adding: ‘….you know he’s always somebody that I run to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.

‘It’s nobody’s fault I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore.

The clip ended with the singer saying: ‘I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father… And, yeah…’

Offset replied beneath the video with: ‘Y’all won.’

The couple married in secret last year, the singer revealed this on Instagram saying that she wanted to keep some moments private.

Speaking candidly of their relationship, Cardi B told fans on Instagram: ‘There are moments that I want to keep for myself.

‘Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married.’

The newlyweds welcomed daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, born on 10 July. She is Cardi B’s first child and Offset’s fourth.
