Nick Knowles tweets message of support for estranged wife Jessica after cervical cancer diagnosis

Nick Knowles has sent a message of support to his estranged wife Jessica, after it was revealed that she's been diagnosed with cervical cancer at the age of 28.
The DIY SOS presenter took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the situation, writing 'You may have read @MoreJessicaRose shock news. I, Eddie & her entire family & many friends love her & stand with her'.
Jessica, a fitness and lifestyle blogger shared the sad news in a post for HELLO! magazine which she later cross-posted to her Instagram account, telling her 1,500 followers, 'After a brief period of being unwell I was unfortunately diagnosed, this week, with cervical cancer.'
'Following on from a difficult year it has forced me to put a lot of things into perspective and really brought to light what matters; my health and Eddie [the couple's son, 1].'
Jessica shared her diagnosis with her followers on social media
'I am going to use this time to focus solely on my health and use all spare energy for making sure Eddie's home life remains as happy and normal as positive,' she added.
'I have been so overwhelmed with love from friends and family and am a huge believer in 'things happening for a reason' and this will undoubtably be a huge time of learning for me.'

Jessica and Nick married in Italy in 2012 after a whirlwind romance, and announced their separation back in January 2016, releasing a statement which read, 'It is with sadness that we announce we are separating. Our focus continues to be the happiness of our son Eddie.'

After the announcement of her diagnosis, the 28-year-old's followers were quick to send her messages of encouragement and hope.
'Your enthusiasm and positivity are great places to start this journey. Sending healing thoughts your way, beautiful lady,' one wrote, whilst another added, 'So very very sorry to hear that. Take time out for you and your boy. Wishing you all the luck and strength in the world'.
