This healthy and nutritious high protein breakfast makes a wonderful start to any day. It’s so quick to assemble that you could even pop it into some Tupperware and take it on the commute to work or school. Nuts, berries and bananas are a great way to kick start your metabolism, as they are so highly packed with vitamins and the cooling yoghurt adds a creamy texture and a good dose of calcium. It makes a change from toast and jam, plus the nuts release their energy slowly, therefore keeping you fuller for longer, so you're less likely to need a naughty snack mid-morning.
Ingredients
- 300ml natural yoghurt
- 200g fresh blueberries
- 4tsp of flaked almonds
- 4tsp of runny honey
- 1 chopped banana
