Method

  1. Start by making up a batch of scotch pancake batter – we’ve added 50ml milk to make it easier to shape in the pan.
  2. Divide the batter into three and add either the green, orange or red food gel colouring to each batch before putting them into separate squeezy sauce bottles.
  3. Heat a frying pan on a medium heat and start by making the turtle’s mask with the red batter.
  4. Follow by making a circle around the mask for the monster’s face and then follow by drawing its body, arms and legs.
  5. Flip the pancake over to make sure both sides are cooked. Repeat this with different coloured masks.
  6. Place the monsters onto a plate and add their eyes over their masks and they’re ready to serve.
