Our easy Irish soda bread pots not only look great, they taste fantastic too. We really cannot over emphasise the easiness of this easy Irish soda bread recipe – with no need to prove or need, it’s the quickest way to get fresh bread without buying a shop-bought loaf. And trust us, once you’ve seen how impressive this easy Irish soda bread is, you’ll be baking batch loads. These bread pots are perfect for when you’re entertaining and want to show off a little. The terracotta flowerpots are so chic and will give a real professional finish should you choose to post a picture of your baked goods. Soda bread uses buttermilk as the active ingredient and most supermarkets stock it. However, you can make a substitute using a tablespoon of lemon juice and 250ml of milk. Simply mix the two ingredients together and leave to stand for 5 minutes. You’ll notice the colour and consistency change a little and then it is ready to use in place of the buttermilk. This is often cheaper and it is great if you need to make a specific volume that doesn’t come in shop-bought cartons.
