In 2014, we've seen the rise in hybrid foods from cronuts to duffins, American BBQ food has taken its place in the UK and marshmallows have become the thing to make. But what's in store for 2015? And what will you be making next year?

No-bake cheesecakes
This year it's all about no-bake cheesecakes. We just love a classic cheesecake especially with a buttery biscuit base and soft, creamy filling but what makes cheesecakes even better is when there's no oven involved. Roll up those sleeves and join the no-bake crew!

Make your own pastry
After 2014's round of The Great British Bake Off back in August, we've had one thing on our mind and that's pastry! Whether it's the all-butter kind that melts in your mouth or golden pastry that's sturdy enough to encase a meat pie, we think pastry is going to be a big hit next year.

Put those expensive juicers to one side, it's time to get souping! Homemade soups have never been trendier and we predict that in 2015, soups are going to be the new health craze. Luckily, we?ve got plenty of soup recipes to inspire you so you're ready to join in with the latest trend.

Quinoa
Quinoa might sound all fancy and expensive but it's becoming a well-known grain in the food industry and now you can find it in the supermarket. Full of protein, this grain seen as the healthier alternative to rice or pasta. Why not give it a try next year? You never know, it might become a regular. Also, freekah and kaniwa are ones to watch next too...

Korean food
We love Korean food and we have an inkling that it's about to hit the UK by storm. One of our favourite elements has to be kimchi, which is made from fermented Chinese cabbage and uses only 7 ingredients. Are you tempted?
Chocolate
With more and more chocolate moulds and DIY kits hitting the shelves, we've got a feeling in our goodtoknow guts that chocolate is going to be a biggie next year and we can't wait, especially as we've heard that it's running out - now is the time to overindulge!

Coconut
With coconut water becoming more and more popular this year (it's one of the fastest-growing soft drinks), we think there's definitely a space in your kitchen cupboard for something coconutty in 2015. Be it coconut oil, be coconut water or even just desiccated coconut, this tropical fruit is going to become the one to watch.

Miniature bakes
Bite-sized bakes are the new cupcakes after starring on this year's GBBO. Miniature Victoria sponges, scones and loaf cakes are only a handful of the sweet treats that you can make bite-sized. Like they say, good things come in small packages...

Cauliflower
