Chez Maximka blog
Theme? Galina Varese started her blog (that is named after her little one) thinking it would be a baby blog. But now her posts are mainly tasty recipes that she's cooked up for her family, general posts about being a busy mum to her two boys and some reviews.
Why we love it? We love the array of different dishes that Galina cooks up and the step-by-step pictures make it really visual and super easy to follow the recipes at home.

Theme? Michelle from Utterly Scrummy describes her blog as 'food for families that is budget friendly, tasty, easy to prepare and nutritious' - and that's exactly what you get (with the odd treat thrown in there for good measure).
Why we love it? The recipes are exactly what you expect from a blogged named 'Utterly Scrummy' - not only is it delicious, it's real family food that all normal mums have time to prepare and all kids will eat too. Why we love it? This blog is the ultimate place to head if you're on a diet. What we love most is that each recipe has a nutritional information section underneath it which makes it so easy to keep track of calories. Theme? Pig in the Kitchen is a blog run by Mel, whose fourth child was born allergic to milk, eggs, Brazil nuts, mustard and most pollens. This meant a complete overhaul in the way Mel cooked (and baked) for the whole family and this blog is there to help others who are living with allergies.
Why we love it? This blog is living proof that suffering from allergies doesn't have to stop you from eating a delicious range of food. The majority of recipes on the site can be made gluten-free and/or vegan. Mel can whip up a tasty egg-free, dairy-free and gluten-free cake and, for that alone, we think she deserves a little recognition!

Theme? Lisa is an American who now lives in England and (from the title of her blog, you can probably tell) loves to bake! Theme? Caroline will tell you that her blog is 'pretty much a mish mash of food from everywhere' - but, we couldn't think of anything better. She was born in India, married a Scot and is now living in Qatar - so it's not hard to see how her blog is a 'mish-mash'. Why we love it? We don't just love this blog because it's run by one of the team here at goodtoknow (although the sweet treats she brings us don't do any harm in swaying us). We love it because Jess's recipes are creative, fun, easy to follow and, we can tell you from personal experience, very tasty!

Little Missed Gluten blog
Theme? The main purpose of this blog is to support anyone with coeliac disease - along with being a record of learnings and recipes for Laura, who runs the blog. After being diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2012, Laura has been learning how to live with the disease and you can follow that journey on her blog. From good shops and brands to try, places to eat out and tasty recipes, this blog really is a great source for of knowledge and support from anyone in the same situation.
Why we love it? As coeliac disease becomes more and more common, it's essential that the right support is out there. Blogs like Laura's, that show the whole journey and how living with the condition is possible, are great for other people diagnosed. Plus, the recipes that she whips up are so tasty that non-coeliacs can get inspiration and make their own versions too.

Theme? Recipes from a Normal Mum is just that - recipes from a normal mum! Holly who writes the blog was a contestant on Great British Bake Off in 2011 (OK, we admit she's probably got a bit more experience than some) but, her recipes are impressive, seriously tasty and most importantly completely do-able for normal mums at home.
Why we love it? The recipes vary greatly, as you can probably imagine from a GBBO competitor, one day you'll see the latest post will be lemon animal biscuits and the next it will be beautifully decorated coffee and walnut cupcakes. We enjoy the variety and most of all we love knowing that we could give these recipes a good go in our kitchen too.

Theme? Anna is a Greek Cypriot mother of four who loves cakes and cook books (a girl after our own heart then!) Theme? Lexie's blog is dedicated to her son as she tries to, through eating the right foods, help nurse him to health.
