Tyrrells releases 'aphrodisiac crisps' to get you in the mood for Valentines' Day

Aphrodisiac crisps will be available in stores very soon, but for a limited time only.

Premium crisp brand Tyrrells are launching a new brand of aphrodisiac crisps, just in time for Valentines' Day.

The new crisps are honey and chilli flavoured, with the contrastingly sweet and fiery tastes being said to have provocative effects on the body - guaranteeing to heat up any date night!

Both honey and chilli contain aphrodisiac-like qualities, with honey tinkering with hormone levels, while chilli allegedly triggers nerve endings on the tongue - releasing endorphins and increasing heart rate.

Best and worse crisps for your diet, revealed!

So, if you're looking for something to put that romantic spring back into your step, or your partner's - these new crisps may be the answer.

Tyrrells have also announced they'll be running a social media competition, allowing fans the chance to win a bundle of the taste-bud tantalising crisps, and more...

Entrants have the chance to get their hands on a selection of date night essentials, including wine, candles and a cheeky couples board game that is bound to get pulses racing.

If you'd like to be in with a chance of winning this luscious prize, then be sure to tune into any announcements made on Tyrrells Facebook and Instagram, as well as on its official Twitter page.

Tyrrells latest delicious crisp creation will be available from mid-January, so be sure to pick up a 150g pack for the fine price of £2.19.

Better to purchase a pack sooner rather than later if you'd like to test out the affects of the crisps' aphrodisiac properties in the run up to the big day...
