A couple of months ago, Nando’s made waves on Twitter when it finally made its hottest sauce, the eye-watering PERi-PERi Vusa, available at Tesco. But now the popular Portuguese-style food chain has gone one step further. That’s right, now you need head no further than your local supermarket to pick up everything you need to cook up a full Nando’s inspired meal at home.
Nando’s have launched four new PERi-PERi Meal Kits as well as four new PERi-PERi Pan Fry pastes – yep, they really are spoiling us.
The PERi-PERi Meal Kits contain everything from Lemon & Herb microwave rice to Nando’s special spice, including PERinaise, PERi-PERi cooking sauce and PERi-PERi drizzle. One even comes complete with mini cornflakes!
‘Those looking for a quick, easy, but seriously tasty meal need look no further,’ say the Nando’s team. ‘Nando’s Meal Kits come packed with everything you need to cook up a full PERi-PERi storm.’
Each Meal Kit serves two to three people and costs £3.50 from Tesco. There are four to choose from: Cornflake Chicken (extra mild), Coconut Chicken (medium), Saucy Chicken (medium) and Zesty Chicken (extra mild). You’ll just have to add chicken and veggies to complete your feast.
Bit shorter on time? Then the new PERi-PERi Pan Fry range is just what you need. Nando’s says these delicious pastes are ‘perfect for flavouring chicken and veggies in a pan, and rustling up a delicious meal in just ten minutes’.

Each pack contains two separate two-serving sachets and costs just £1.19 from Tesco. You can choose from Medium, Hot, Garlic and Coconut & Lemon. They’re all free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. And they’re vegan and gluten-free, too! Just add veggies, chicken or soya chunks and you’re away. You can make it go even further by adding it to pastas or salads.
