Take a look at the 90th birthday cake GBBO's Nadiya made for the Queen!
Today's the big day!
Bake Off's Nadiya Hussain had a VERY big role in the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations today - she was given the honour of baking Her Majesty's birthday cake!
And what a cake it was. The tiered orange drizzle cake looked fabulous with its shades of purple and gold. It was certainly fit for a Queen!
The star baker had told fans on Twitter last night that she was struggling to sleep but she needn't of worried, because the Queen looks thrilled!
She also took to Twitter to give us a sneaky clue about the flavour before the big reveal...
The Great British Bake Off 2015 winner announced the big news on the ITV chat show Loose Women.
The show shortly followed the announcement with a post on Twitter congratulating the Bake Off star on her latest challenge. It looks like she'd been planning when to spill the beans for a while... [twitter]
[/twitter] After being crowned the Bake Off winner back in October 2015, Nadiya Hussain has well and truly been taking over the baking world by storm. From working on her new book, due out in June 2016, to her epic towering cake at the National Television Awards - not to mention starting her very own #NadiyaBakes blog for GoodtoKnow - this baking-mad mum has been one busy bee.

Nadiya celebrating her Bake Off win
Nadiya made the Bake Off look easy and was always one to impress Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood with her unusual flavour combinations, 3D sculptures and eye for detail when it came to design. We're sure she's going to use all of these techniques in creating this masterpiece for the Queen.
Nadiya told ITV show Loose Women, 'When I told the kids, the boys were great at keeping it a secret. I told my daughter and she said, "Oh Mary Berry? You've made lots of cakes for Mary Berry!"'
She also revealed that the orange drizzle cake she's set to make would be 'very citrusy'. She had considered doing a fruit cake but told the panel: 'I thought "Let's do something a little bit different".'
Feeling inspired? Why not rustle up your own orange drizzle loaf? (This one has peach, too!)
The Queen's 90th birthday falls on 21st April, and she also has an official celebration on the 11th June. Psst! Want to keep up with Nadiya's adventures? Read her exclusive blog for GoodtoKnow #NadiyaBakes
We can't wait to see what amazing showstopper Nadiya is going to whip up - we're sure Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood are going to be bursting with pride.
