McDonald's Monopoly is making a comeback - and it starts today!
The famous McDonald's Monopoly game is on its way back to restaurants.
McDonald's Monopoly will be returning to restaurants across the country from today.
From today, millions of instant wins, such as free McFlurry's, as well as tonnes of valued prices will be on offer for customers of the fast food chain.
It hasn't been announced exactly what prizes are up for grabs yet, however, based on last year's offerings - we're talking 20 Mini Coopers, 150 holidays and colossal sums of cash - we have a feeling that 2019's prizes will be pretty lucrative.
If you've been living under a rock and aren't familiar with the Monopoly game, then this is how it works: peel-back stickers will be attached to boxes, cups and chip trays, offering instant wins - such as a cheeseburger, McFlurry or a portion of chips - or stickers with codes that can be redeemed online to collect bigger prizes.
You get two or three stickers with each game. The bigger the meal you pick, the bigger your prize is likely to be - so essentially you can either go large or go home, really.

As well as offering instant wins, the stickers can also be collected as properties as would be in a game of monopoly, and can be built up if you'd like to get your hands on a bigger prize.
While there's currently no end date for this years monopoly, the scheme normally tends to end at the beginning of May, so you'll have ample time to avail of a prize or two.
We're not the only ones excited about this announcement, as many monopoly fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the breaking news:
Another user also used the joyous occasion to raise this very fair point:
We. Are. So. Excited.
