Earlier this year, Iceland added seven new ‘syn’-free options to the Slimming World Iceland range, including Thai Fishcakes, Hoi Sin Sauce and even Chunky Chips. And now ‘syn’-conscious shoppers can snap up two new soups, a stew and gravy with their weekly shop, starting from just £1.
The new Slimming World Vegetable Tagine Soup, £2 for 500g, and Sweetcorn Chowder, just £1.50 for 500g, can be cooked from frozen in only 12 minutes, making them perfect for a speedy but hearty lunch or a light yet delicious supper.
And the new Slimming World Mexican Pork Fiesta, £3.50 for 550g, makes for a flavourful, fuss-free meal you can whip up any night of the week.
If you’re already a fan of the ‘syn’-free Slimming World Chips, £2.25 for 1kg, why not up the ante with a serving of Slimming World Gravy, at just £1 for 350g?
Each of the new products is based on Slimming World’s renowned Food Optimising eating plan and made with filling but low calorie 'Free Food' ingredients. The new additions are available to buy in Iceland stores and online now.

There are now an impressive 50 products in Iceland’s frozen Slimming World range, covering takeaway favourites like Chicken Tikka Masala and Chinese Style Banquet Rice, exotic options such as King Prawn Laksa Noodles and Moroccan Meatball Stew, and classic comfort foods like Beef Casserole, Cottage Pie and Lasagne. And there are plenty of options for vegetarian food lovers too, including Vegetable Gravy, Vegetable Dhansak and Vegetable Biryani.
Slimming World was launched by Margaret Miles-Bramwell in Alfreton, Derbyshire, in 1969 and is now the largest slimming club in the UK and Ireland, with over 10,000 groups.
Its Food Optimising strategy means that ‘Free Foods’ like fruit, vegetables, grains, eggs, low-fat dairy products and meat (prepared in a healthy way) can be eaten in unlimited quantities. One portion of healthy fibre-rich food and two portions of calcium-rich food can also be eaten per day. All other foods are given a ‘syns’ points value – the number of ‘syns’ you can have each day is limited so that you can't have too much unhealthy food.
