Greggs advent calendar news have delighted fans of the bakery business as it's revealed that you'll be able to celebrate the Christmas countdown with sausage rolls and festive bakes for the first time ever this year.
For Greggs fans, Christmas really will come early this year, as the popular chain of baked goods shops has announced today that they will be launching their first ever alternative advent calendar.
The treat-filled limited-edition advent calendar, which costs £24 and is billed as 'the ultimate Christmas gift for every Greggs fan', will be the gift that keeps on giving this December.
Behind every door, Greggs fans will find a voucher which entitles the holder to a different Greggs buy every day.
Surprises for the Christmas countdown including the ever-popular Festive Bake, a selection of Greggs flavoured lattes, festive mince pies and a sausage roll (of course).
Behind the final door on the 24th December, lucky owners of the Greggs advent calendar are treated to a £5 gift card to spend on whatever they like in the shop. Some lucky customers will even discover a £25 gift card hidden behind the door!

Greggs have also revealed that the Greggs advent calendar will go on sale in a limited number in selected Greggs’ shops across the UK from Monday 20th November.
However, those who want to get their hands on the great value Greggs advent calendar will need to hurry - the calendars will only be available until stocks last.
A Greggs spokesperson said: 'Fans won't be disappointed by what's behind the doors - there's a delicious Greggs gift to enjoy every day of the December advent season, from sausage rolls to Christmas sandwiches and of course our infamous Festive Bake. It's the perfect Christmas gift for every Greggs fan.'
Each calendar is worth between £35 and £60, and the advent calendar vouchers can be redeemed in shops from 1st December up to and including 24th December 2017. Gift cards are valid for up to 12 months.
