Want to bag yourself a bargain this Christmas? Fancy a Christmas dinner that doesn't break the bank? Well, it's time to grab that bag for life and head down to your nearest Aldi.
Want to bag yourself a bargain this Christmas? Fancy a Christmas dinner that doesn't break the bank? Well, it's time to grab that bag for life and head down to your nearest Aldi.
According to latest research, us Brits spend a whopping £174 on Christmas dinner every 25th December, but good old Aldi has decided to change it this year! It's goodbye to expensive frozen turkey, pound munching puds and shockingly pricey potatoes.
This budget supermarket has revealed how you can have a Christmas dinner spread for eight people at ONLY £22.02 - that's a jaw-dropping £2.75 a head. Yes, we know.
Compare that to other supermarkets like Waitrose, working out at £37.25, Tesco £31.19 and Lidl at £22.14, it's a remarkable difference. The eight-person spread available at Aldi includes: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, carrots, parsnips, potatoes, gravy, Christmas pudding, custard and mince pies (phew!)
And if you decide to buy your turkey from Aldi, you'll save yourself a staggering £12.01 when compared to Waitrose. That £12 could buy you around 12 packs of Brussel sprouts from Aldi, or how about three Christmas puddings from Aldi instead?
Price wars are well and truly on for Christmas dinner this year. It's all about customers bagging a bargain and saving every penny they can when it comes to the big day and Aldi is well and truly on it!
