Candice Brown reveals fellow Bake Off stars will make her wedding cake
Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown is asking her fellow contestants to bake her wedding cake.
Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown has revealed that her friends from the show will be baking the cake for her special day.
Candice is set to wed her longterm partner Liam Macaulay in September. Despite winning one of the nation's favourite baking shows, the GBBO champion is less than keen to create the wedding cake for her big day herself.
Speaking on Loose Women about her upcoming nuptials, the 33-year-old revealed that she is refusing to bake her own wedding cake - and has already chosen some talented bakers to entrust the responsibility to!
The baking champ said: 'I’m not doing it, I’ve done a couple [of wedding cakes] and it’s the most stressful thing I’ve ever done.'
Instead, Candice has roped in her fellow former Great British Bake Off contestants to help her out, and revealed that each one will bake a layer for her cake each.
She said: 'My cake, I happen to know 11 really good bakers and they’re all going to do a tier for me. It’s going to be pretty big I think.'
Candice was the winner of 2016 Bake Off, the final series before the show moved to Channel 4. London-based Selasi and former primary school headteacher Val were among those Candice battled against.

When asked if she was worried about any of the bakers contributing to her wedding cake Candice confidently said no.
She laughed: 'Definitely not! I tasted all their baking so I know they’re all pretty good. They said, ‘What do you want?’ I said, ‘I don’t care, whatever you like’. No, I’m too laid back to be planning a wedding, I’m like, it’ll happen.'
On the subject of weddings and cake, the Loose Women panel inquisitively asked if Candice had been asked to make Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's cake.
The baker smiled and said no, which must have been a relief given Candice described previous wedding cakes as the most stressful thing she has ever done.
