Zara and Mike Tindall reveal the name of their second daughter
A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the happy news with an announcement...
Zara Tindall gave birth to her second daughter with husband Mike nine days ago on 18 June. The couple chose not to announce the name straight away and left us all guessing...
While we thought they might pick a name from the top baby names for 2018, they have chosen something a little more unusual.
Zara and Mike have called their second daughter Lena Elizabeth. A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the happy news with an announcement that read: 'Zara and Mike Tindall have named their baby daughter Lena Elizabeth.'
The couple have not released any details on why or how they came to the decision but we rather like the choice! According to the site Baby Name Wizard, Lena is often used as an abbreviation for the name Elena but can also be used as a name on its own.
In Greek is means 'alluring, temptress and light'. It's also a popular Russian and Serbian name as it is the name of the Siberian river in Russia.
Lena is the Queen's seventh great-grandchild and beats Kate Middleton and Prince William's son Prince Louis as the youngest of the little royals.
Zara was heavily pregnant when she attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's May wedding

Zara and Mike's four-year-old daughter Mia is likely to be delighted that she has a new playmate though we are yet to see a picture of the little one with her new sister.
Given that Lena and Prince Louis are so close in age perhaps they'll develop a close bond.
Zara also has a close relationship with Prince George and was reported to be teaching him to ride a horse earlier this year so she clearly spends a lot of time with Kate and the children.
With Prince Louis' christening next week, it's possible we'll get our first glimpse of Lena when we see Prince Louis for the second time!
