Victoria Beckham praised by fans for gifting daughter Harper with book celebrating 'girl power'
The mum-of-four is keen to encourage her youngest child to believe in her own abilities
Victoria Beckham has been praised by fans for gifting daughter Harper with an inspirational book about 'girl power'.
The fashion designer yesterday uploaded a snap of the cover of Strong Is The New Pretty by Kate T. Parker to Instagram, along with a sweet message.
'To Harper love from mummy x #strongisthenewpretty #girlpower X VB,' wrote Victoria.
Kate T. Parker's publication was inspired by a viral photo project from 2015 with the same name.
Its pages are filled with 175 black and white as well as colour images showing 'fierce' females.
According to the strapline, the book - which was released in January 2017 - is 'a celebration of girls being themselves'.
Fans were quick to praise the 43-year-old for giving Harper, 6, the powerful present.

'Love it!! My 6 year old was given this by her god mother,' said one. Another exclaimed: 'Awwwww so sweet! Such a great mum!!!!!'
A third follower even recommend another novel that Victoria might like to see.

Victoria isn't the only A-lister to have purchased a copy for a youngster - Nicole Kidman revealed that she snapped one up for her daughters too.
'A great book... I gave [it] to my daughters and watched as they pored over it,' the Australian actress told Vogue magazine.
Victoria has been championing the notion of 'girl power' since the Spice Girls burst on to the music scene with their debut single Wannabe in 1996.
And in an interview last year, she revealed that Harper is already a very headstrong young lady.
'She's very feminine. She loves to wear pretty dresses, pretty skirts, but she has got three older brothers, so she is a little bit of a tomboy as well,' she told InStyle.
'So you know she is tough. She is a really strong little girl.'
Victoria also shares sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and 12-year-old Cruz with husband David, 42.
