'The photo is a tad inappropriate looking' Victoria Beckham's latest picture with Brooklyn sparks debate
Would you act like this with your children?
Victoria Beckham's latest picture with her eldest son has sparked a debate among her fans, as some say it's strange to describe your son as the 'perfect date' - but what do you think?
Victoria Beckham is a proud mum-of-four and regularly shares an insight into family life with pictures on social media.
From clips of Harper walking to school, to the kids favourite snacks and the surprises they've planned for dad David, the posts always get a lot of reaction. Victoria's most recent post has sparked a bit of a debate as some have labelled how close she and her eldest son, 19-year-old Brooklyn, as 'weird'.
The picture shows Victoria posing with Brooklyn dressed in a gown with a sheer-back. The mum-of-four is fixing Brooklyn's tie ahead of a night at the Argento Ball in aid of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Victoria wrote in the caption: 'The perfect date @brooklynbeckham #25anniversary#argentoball #fightagainstaids @ejaf@eltonjohn @davidfurnish X VB'.
Most of the criticisms focused around the idea of taking you son on a 'date'. One person wrote: 'I go out all the time with my children don’t call it a date night though!!!'
Another exclaimed: 'Mother and son looking like a couple.' A third said: 'While I think it is lovely that she is bringing her son to the ball, the photo is a tad inappropriate looking - maybe it’s the poses but it looks slightly inappropriate. Am I wrong?'

With over 700,000 likes in under 24 hours, it's unsurprising that the comments are mixed but some of Victoria's fans have defended the picture and that the bond she has with her children is something to be proud of.
One person wrote: '@victoriabeckham such a beautiful photo. Clearly after reading what some haters say they have no real family bond like you guys do. Keep doing what you do because you're an ace mum and show so much love and support for your children. We as a family are exactly the same. #familycomesfirst'.
Another said: 'It's a lovely photo of a mother and her son, some people's comments are just ridiculous. Get a life and leave there's alone.'
A third added: 'Beautiful mother beautiful son ♥', while another commented: 'It is only weird in the minds of sick people...'
