The little girl tripped and chipped a bone in her elbow
Una Healy took to social media to reveal that her five-year-old daughter Aoife Belle was rushed to hospital after suffering a 'freak accident'.
While she didn't specify the details of what happened, Una explained that her little girl tripped and managed to somehow chip a bone in her elbow, and doctors said she'd need surgery to fix it.
Una took to Instagram to tell her fans about the awful accident that her 'brave' daughter had and thanked the doctors and nurses that took care of her, now she's recovering well.
She posted a picture of Aoife Belle sitting up in a hospital bed, post-surgery, with her arm in a cast and sling.
The Saturdays singer captioned the post: 'Our brave little trooper Aoife Belle.
'She suffered an unfortunate freak accident where she tripped and chipped a bone in her elbow that ended up requiring surgery.
'Thank you so much to all the fantastic care staff at Northampton General Hospital and Children's A&E. We greatly appreciate your kindness and care. Thank you.'
