Toddler shocks parents by pushing chest of drawers off brother to save him
This video will give you chills!
The moment a toddler gained enough strength to lift a chest of drawers that had fallen on his twin brother has been captured on a nursery camera.
Ricky Shoff, a father of twin boys, posted a video and message to Facebook revealing the incredible moment one of his sons saved the other by pushing a large chest of draws off his trapped brother.
The video, which was shared to the social networking site on 1st January, shows a crying toddler lying on a nursery floor trapped underneath a large chest of draws.
His twin brother can see that his sibling is in pain and clearly scared at being trapped underneath the furniture, and begins to circle the scene, surveying what he can do.
The adorable pair, who are dressed in matching pyjamas, clearly have a special bond as the free brother checks the dresser from all angles to try and help.
After bending down and attempting to lift the dresser clear of his twin, but finding it too heavy, the free brother leans into it and manages to push it straight off the crying toddler.
Ricky accompanied this astonishing video with a message, admitting 'I've been a little hesitant to post this.'

He went on to say, 'But I feel it's not only to bring awareness, but it is also incredible. We are so grateful for the bond that these twin brothers share. We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock. And feel blessed that he is ok.'
Ending his post with a warning, the dad urges other parents to check the security of their furniture, 'Please make sure all your dressers are bolted and secured to the wall. Please share.'
The video has received a lot of attention, both negative and positive, with over 1,000 shares.
Facebook users have been keen to comment, with one user saying, 'So glad he is ok. Sometimes you think you thought of everything but sometimes we miss things. Your not the first and won't be the last. Good reminder to everyone.'
Another pointed out how important spreading awareness can be, 'I'm so happy to see this was posted. Thank you for raising awareness and sharing this story. To many ones stories like this go untold and children get seriously hurt sometimes killed because nobody understands the true dangers and what they can do to help prevent these accidents. I'm so grateful to see that your son is okay. His brother is a hero.'
However, some comments were worried about where the parents were at the time of the accident, with one enquiring, 'Can I ask why no one heard that child's cry?' and another asking, 'where are the parents? There is no one there, ...omg'.
