Sophie Ellis-Bextor reveals first picture of her fourth son

We love the baby boy's name!

Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her husband Richard Jones have become parents for the fourth time.

The singer welcomed her fourth son, Jesse Jones, last week and broke the happy news on her Instagram account, captioning a cute photo of her and her little baby boy by saying: 'He's here! Baby Jesse Jones, born on Tuesday 3rd November and now home safe with his family.'

This is Sophie's fourth child with husband Richard Jones. The two became parents for the first time in 2004, when their son Sonny was born, and later welcomed Kit and Ray, now six and three years old respectively.

The Murder On The Dancefloor singer announced her pregnancy back in May on Twitter, after her fuller figure started rumours when she attended an event.

She first teased her followers with a mysterious tweet: 'Hello all. Been finding it a bit nice-but-strange to be congratulated on a pregnancy I haven't actually announced yet.'

But later confirmed the pregnancy with a picture of her husband pointing towards her gorgeous baby bump: 'What do you think, @thefeeling R? Is there a baby in there?' to which her husband replied 'Yes there is!'

Sophie then gave fans the final confirmation with another tweet: 'Ah ok, cool! Mystery solved. Baby in autumn. Lovely! Xx.'

Speaking about being pregnant for a fourth time, the Londoner said that even though she's enjoyed it, it was harder to get some rest as a mother-of-three.

'I think it's a little bit harder to allow myself to be pregnant because obviously I've got the three others that I'm looking after and they don't cut me a lot of slack. I'm not allowed to sit down that much.'

The hitmaker also shared on Instagram one of her favourite perks of being pregnant - always getting a seat on the tube.

Even though the couple, who got married in 2005 in Italy, have their hands full with their big family, they still find time to spend time alone and keep the sparkle alive.

'Richard is so kind and funny, he is a good man. We always make time for ourselves and go on date nights. It's good to sometimes be a bit selfish and ultimately the kids are happy when we're happy,' Sophie said in an interview.

The 36 year old, who started her career in the indie rock band Theaudience, released her fifth studio album 'Wanderlust' last year.

Celebrating the success of the album which she says was the most successful since her first album, the 2001 'Read my Lips', the singer confessed she was having the 'best year' of her career: 'There are so many benefits to being independent and getting older and all of those things, I embrace all of it.'

Even though she's revelead on Twitter that a new album is already in the works, new music will have to wait as the singer is now taking a well-deserved break to enjoy motherhood for a fourth time.
