Sam Faiers' reality TV show The Baby Diaries gets renewed for a second season

'I am really looking forward to letting the viewers follow me in my day to day life'

Very happy news for Sam Faiers today, as her reality series The Baby Diaries has been renewed for another series.

The former TOWIE star, who is mum to baby Paul Jr. with partner Paul Knightley, said; 'The feedback from The Baby Diaries was so overwhelming and I am really looking forward to letting the viewers follow me in my day to day life with baby Paul during my first year of motherhood.'

The mother-of-one confirmed that the second series will be called Sam Faiers: The Mummy Diaries, and will focus more on motherhood and parenting rather than her relationship with Paul, as the first series did.

The Mummy Diaries will follow the same format - another six-part-show (each at 60 minutes) aired on TV channel ITVBe later this year.

Not only that, but Sam hinted she has other projects in the pipeline for 2016, telling her fans; 'I have so many exciting projects coming up this year, work wise and in my personal life and I can't wait to share them with everyone.'

Although the first series did well in the ratings, it was slightly overshadowed by viewer's response on social media, where many were quick to criticise Sam's relationship with her partner Paul and his relationship with his mother.

But Sam's sister Billie came to his defence at the time, telling Fabulous magazine; 'The thing about Paul is that he cares about me and the baby so much that people mistake that for being controlling.'

Recently young mum Sam has also faced lots of controversy surrounding her parenting skills, with fans on Instagram criticising everything from her choice of pram to how she holds baby Paul.

Two weeks ago the 25-year-old star shared a photograph of her young son lying down in the Balmoral Silver Cross pram with her 1.6 million Instagram followers.

Fan Alex Phaea said; 'That pram may be cute but surely he can climb out of it at his age? I'd be worried about him falling out the second I turned my back.'

Sam has ignored the criticism and not taken down the offending snap.
