'Get him some proper bloody shoes!' Sam Faiers slammed for buying son designer baby shoes

'Seriously, what's wrong with a pair of clarks! They grow out of them in next to no time'

Sam Faiers has been criticised for her parenting choices after fans noticed that she bought her 17-month-old son expensive baby shoes.

It's not the first time the mum-of-one has hit headlines for fans' comments on her parenting style, and keen Twitter users may have noticed some backlash after the penultimate episode of Sam's popular TV show aired.

In last night's episode of The Mummy Diaries, viewers could see the 26-year-old taking her baby boy to a high-end store to try on some different styles of shoes.

Both Sam and her long-term boyfriend Paul cooed as they watched their little man toddling around the store in his new designer footwear. The youngster seemed to be having a great time as he showcased a cute pom pom pullover and nappy.

But despite the family enjoying themselves on-screen, viewers watching at home were less than impressed, with some commenting that a child that young doesn't need designer shoes.

One Twitter user pointed out that at that stage in his development, baby Paul will grow out of his shoes quickly, meaning spending a lot of money on them could be a waste.

'Seriously, what's wrong with a pair of clarks! They grow out of them in next to no time #mummydiaries'

Another viewer didn't feel that Sam's choice were 'proper shoes', saying, 'Take the baby to Clarks and get him some proper bloody shoes! #mummydiaries'

A third noted that being one year old, baby Paul's shoes probably aren't that important to him.

'A 1yr old baby doesn't need designer shoes do they not have #Clarks in Essex 🙈#mummydiaries'

But contrastingly, some fans loved the episode, with many remarking how cute Paul looked.

One social media user said, 'How cute is baby Paul in those little shoes! #mummydiaries'.

Whilst another agreed, 'love tonight's show and loving the series, baby Paul is the cutest🙈👶🏻💘 #mummydiaries.'
