Prince William: George is a little bit of a rascal, he reminds me of Harry!
Prince William spills the beans on his new arrival
In an interview with CNN Prince William gushed like any new father about his newborn son, and revealed the trials and tribulations of parenthood.
We all remember the first time we caught a glimpse of the mini royal, and no one more than Prince William, who shared how pleased he was with his son's behaviour on the big day: ‘I'm just glad he wasn't screaming his head off the whole way through.'
Chatting about whether he had any qualms about showing off his bundle of joy to the world Wills said: ‘As any new parent knows, you're only too happy to show off your new child and proclaim that he is the best looking!'
From driving Kate and George home from the hospital, to changing George's first nappy William is certainly a hands-on dad: ‘I'm just doing it the way I know, if it's the right way then brilliant, if it's not, then I'll try to do it better. I'm reasonably headstrong about what I believe in, and I've got fantastic people around me who give me great support and advice.'
Despite being on hand for nappy duty, Wills did confess that Kate has been doing the majority of the night shifts: ‘I'm up a little bit during the night, but not as much as Catherine. She's doing a fantastic job [she's doing] very well.'
Talking about how little George is progressing, William revealed: ‘He's a little bit of a rascal, put it that way. So he either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger. He's doing very well at the moment. He's growing quite quickly, he's a little fighter. He kind of, he wriggles around quite a lot. And he doesn't want to go to sleep that much, which is a little bit of a problem...'
Of course though, there is one family member we mustn't forget, and that is Lupo, the couple's cocker spaniel.

‘Lupo's coping all right, actually. As a lot of people know who have got dogs and bringing new-born back, they take a little bit of time to adapt, but, no he's been all right so far. He's been slobbering sort of around the house a bit, so he's perfectly happy.'
