Pink sparks debate amongst fans with candid Instagram pic of herself breastfeeding baby Jameson
The vocal breastfeeding advocate has shared another touching moment with her newborn
Pop singer Pink sparked debate over her latest Instagram shot, which shows her breastfeeding baby son Jameson.
In the picture, Pink (real name Alecia Moore) smiles at the camera whilst having her hair and make-up done prior to a performance. Her newborn son Jameson is latched on to her breast and, adorably, is helping out the make-up artist, applying what appears to be bronzer to Pink's breast with a make-up brush.
She's captioned the snap: 'Jameson can multitask too #workflow @pamwiggy @kathyjeung,' and hundreds have commented to compliment both Jameson's skills and Pink's commitment to sharing her breastfeeding journey with her followers.
'Contouring while Breastfeeding, the kids is talented!' wrote one commenter, and another said, 'Yess Thank u for being awesome , i love this #normalizebreastfeeding #keeponboobin'.
However, not everyone was so supportive of her decision to post the candid moment online, with some other commenters questioning the appropriateness of the image.
'Okay... I love pink but why would she put a pic of herself breastfeeding?' asked one bemused poster, and another said: 'Shes using breastfeeding as a guise to show off her tits. Get real.'
A third added: 'All these mummies who wanna be sexy show everyone their hanging boobs.'

It's not the first time Pink has posted a candid breastfeeding shot, with one post back in April even showing she breastfed whilst exercising, taken on a hike with a then even smaller baby Jameson.
Despite the criticism on her most recent image, the majority of fans have been supportive of her decision to capture and upload these intimate moments between herself and her son.
'Love your Mama Groove.. doing what's best for baby AND rocking your career.. you go girl!', gushed one fan.
'The reason I love you,' said another. 'You are the proof that one woman can be a star, a mother, a wife, a lover, a friend , an incredible human being. Live long and happy.'
