Mum shares INCREDIBLE pregnancy photos after being told she could never have children due to 3rd degree burns
The amazing mum is currently pregnant with her second child...
A pregnant woman has shared amazing photos of her baby bump to show that her burn scars haven’t stopped her from having children.
Andrea Grant was told by doctors that she would never be able to carry a baby past four months after suffering 3rd degree burns over 85% of her body at just 8 years old. She sustained the injury after being trapped in a house fire with her brother which was caused by a gas explosion.
As the skin needs to stretch when pregnant, Andrea thought her scars would prevent for from having a baby. However, despite being told she would never have children naturally, Andrea is currently pregnant with her second child.
Her first child Jada is four years old and Andrea has been sharing her amazing pregnancy pictures of baby number two.
In an Instagram post showing her gorgeous bump at 31 weeks pregnant, Andrea explained how she applies olive oil and coconut oil mixed with Shea butter to keep her burns soft and that her pregnancy stomach has been stretching very well.
She said: 'Pregnancy update : August 10,2016 Hey Survivors , Told You guys I would keep you updated I am now 31 Weeks Day 4 and As you see the belly is stretching now that we are fully expanded I am not experiencing much pain .... I am still applying olive oil and some days coconut oil mixed with Shea butter .....
