Meghan Markle's wedding day 'something blue' was from the dress she wore on her first date with Prince Harry
How sweet!
Meghan Markle has revealed during her wedding to Prince Harry, her 'something blue' was an item very close to the couple's hearts.
It's been a long-held wedding tradition that on the day you tie-the-knot you have 'something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue'.
Meghan and Harry said 'I Do' back in May, but until now it was unclear what her 'something blue' was. The couple have now been married for almost six months, and we've finally been told about this special detail from their wedding day, and it's tied to Meghan's spectacular wedding dress.
Speaking on the two-part ITV documentary Queen Of The World, which examines the Queen's role on the global stage, Meghan revealed how her something blue was something very special to the couple.
Inside of the gown, Meghan had the fabric from the dress she wore on her first date with Prince Harry stitched in. It's also been reported the Kate Middleton had her 'something blue' stitched into her dress when she married Prince William. It's thought that Kate's designer Sarah Burton sewed a small blue ribbon into the dress.

The long veil is embroidered with flowers from each of the 53 Commonwealth nations and was designed by Meghan and Clare Waight Keller.
Meghan gushed: 'I knew that it would be a fun surprise as well for my now husband, who didn't know, and he was really over the moon to find out that I would make this choice for our day together.
'And I think the other members of the family had a similar reaction, and just appreciation for the fact that we understand how important this is for us and the role that we play.'
The interview for the documentary was the first time Meghan had seen her dress since the big day and she said: 'It's nice to see it again. It's beautiful.'
Queen of the World begins on Tuesday, September 25 on ITV at 9.15 pm.
