Megan Fox sparks debate after sharing a picture of son Noah in a Frozen Elsa costume

'Another Hollywood weirdo mom'

Megan Fox has sparked debate amongst her fans after sharing a snap of her son Noah dressed in a princess costume.

Mum-of-three Megan shared the picture of her little boy's outfit to her Instagram account as part of a set of Polaroids, choosing to leave the post uncaptioned and let the collection of images speak for themselves.

Many of her 4.4 million followers left positive comments on the Transformers actress' upload, calling her family 'cute' and 'adorable'.

'Gorgeous kids just like their parents!!!!' one exclaimed, followed by another who wrote: 'All 3 boys are absolutely adorable x'

However, there were a handful of posters who weren't quite as complimentary about Noah's choice of outfit.

'Another Hollywood weirdo mom... so disgusting you allow your son to wear princess dresses,' one follower criticised, whilst another added: 'Stop dressing ur boys like girls wtffff'.

Some confused fans also asked if Noah was a girl because of his costume.

'Is that her son on the top left? I thought it was a girl because he's dressed in a Elsa Frozen night gown or something lol,' one questioned.

However, many others have jumped to Megan's defense, explaining that she is the proud mum of three sons, and simply allows them to wear whatever clothes they like.

'Beautiful to see your boy expressing himself. My 4 year old son loves to play dress up (with dresses) and LOVES Frozen and I fear he will someday be judged for it, and how it will make him feel. I just love letting him be who he is and that you do the same ❤️❤️❤️,' one applauded.

'Nice to see you let your kids dress how they want and have long hair,' another commenter agreed. 'My second youngest has curly hair and my girls always put it up. He looks so cute though.'

Megan herself has not addressed the comments, but has spoken in the past about her decision to let her boys express themselves with their wardrobes.

'The boys can wear dresses,' she said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's US TV show in 2016. 'Noah wears dresses so there are no rules - you can be whatever you want to be in my house!'
