Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan announce they're expecting their second child
And of course the pair took to Facebook to do it!
Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan have announced they are expecting their second child, after revealing they didn't think they'd be able to have any more children.
Congratulations are in order for the founder of Facebook who has confirmed he will be expanding his brood with a baby girl.
The social media guru took to Facebook (of course!) to announce the happy news, telling followers and friends that he and his wife were 'happy to share we're expecting another baby girl!'.
The CEO, who was forced to explain why Facebook went down for hours, then continued to open up about the difficult experience he and Priscilla had faced in trying to grow their family, admitting 'we weren't sure what to expect or whether we'd be able to have another child'.
He wrote, 'Priscilla and I are happy to share we're expecting another baby girl!'
'After our difficult experience having Max, we weren't sure what to expect or whether we'd be able to have another child.'
'When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy. My next hope was that it would be a girl. I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I'm so happy Max and our new child will have each other.'

Mark, who has nearly 88 million followers on Facebook, gave an insight into his childhood explaining the roles his sisters had had in his life.
'I grew up with three sisters and they taught me to learn from smart, strong women. They weren't just my sisters but some of my best friends. They've gone on to write books, excel at performance, music, sports, cooking and their careers. They showed me how to compete and still laugh together afterwards.'
The 32 year old also revealed that wife Priscilla grew up with sisters, who 'taught her the importance of family, caring for others and hard work'.
'Priscilla grew up with two sisters and they taught her the importance of family, caring for others and hard work. They supported each other as first generation college students and in their careers in medicine and business. They have so many inside jokes -- the kind only siblings can understand.'
The father-of-two finished his heart-warming post with a touching sentiment, saying that he hopes to raise a 'strong woman' like the 'sisters, mothers and friends' in his life.
'We are all better people because of the strong women in our lives -- sisters, mothers and friends. We can't wait to welcome our new little one and do our best to raise another strong woman.'
Facebook users flooded Mark's post with messages of congratulations, with one follower commenting on his post 'What a beautiful post! We are thrilled for you and so glad that more strong, smart, kind women will be in the world!!'
Another Facebook user said, 'Congratulations on your new baby girl! May she grow up to be healthy, happy, wealthy and wise.'
Mark and Priscilla already share a 15-month-old daughter called Max, who will be big sister to their new bundle of joy.
