'I didn't want an unhappy pregnancy' Lisa Snowdon opens up about leaving it 'too late' for children
'It just didn't work out for me that way'
Lisa Snowdon has opened up about how she's left it 'too late' to have children, despite the fact that becoming a mother was something she's always longed for.
Just before Lisa became the second contestant to be evicted from this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, the model spoke to her fellow camp mates about her decision when it came to starting a family.
When asked if she ever wanted kids, Lisa, 44, replied, 'Not now.'
'It's a weird one, cause it's so hard. I kind of left it too late. I didn't find anyone who I actually wanted to be with. I didn't want to just have kids - I wanted a unit.'
'Maybe not in this lifetime, now.'
Speaking to the camera, she said how 'children just enrich your life so much - so of course I wanted to be a mum.
'It just didn't work out for me that way.'

After leaving the camp and being reunited with boyfriend George Smart, Lisa went into further detail in an interview with the Mirror.
'I didn't want to have a baby in an unhappy relationship,' she admitted. 'It didn't happen and it's something that I have kind of come to terms with.
'A lot of the younger ones in there they want children or they have children. I'm really lucky that I've got four little kids in the family.
'I did always want to be a mum when I was younger, it was something I always imagined doing and being.
'But slowly over the years it just hasn't happened for various reasons, mostly the fact that I wasn't in happy relationships and I just didn't want to have a baby and not have a happy home, I didn't want to have an unhappy pregnancy, I just didn't.'
Lisa feels that as she gets older, she's decided to focus on her relationship instead.
'I'm 45 in January and it hasn't happened. Rather than feel sorry for myself I feel like I've found George now, and we are just really happy that we have each other.
'Sometimes you have to be grateful for what you've got than trying to keep pushing it. I feel quite content in the fact we have made that decision between us and I'm just a really rocking auntie. That's going to be my role.'
