Kym Marsh pays tribute to her stillborn baby on his eighth birthday
The 40-year-old posted a touching poem along with her tweet
Kym Marsh has paid an emotional tribute to her stillborn son Archie, with a sweet social media post on what would have been his eighth birthday.
The Coronation Street star took to Twitter over the weekend to post a touching message dedicated to the baby she lost eight years ago.
Writing to her 717k followers, the actress explained that eight years ago on that day her little boy 'got his angel wings' and wished baby Archie a happy birthday.
She wrote, 'This day 8 yrs ago my baby boy got his angel wings. Happy birthday my beautiful Archie. We love you very much and we miss you every day. 💙'
Alongside her lovely message she posted an image, themed in blue and decorated with angels, that displayed a poem entitled 'An Angel Never Dies'.
The beautiful poem included heartbreaking verses such as 'Don't let them say I wasn't born. That something stopped my heart.'
'I felt each tender squeeze you gave, I've loved you from the start.'

'Although I've never breathed your air, Or gazed into your eyes. That doesn't mean I never was, an angel never dies.'
Kym's followers flooded her post with messages of support, with other mums even sharing their own heartbreaking stories.
One Twitter user said, 'it's 8 years for my little boy this year too. Always think about you and Archie especially today. I hope they are playing together' whilst another tweeted, 'happy birthday to Angel Archie! My nephew became an angel baby 3 weeks ago at 35 weeks 😢! Hardest thing ever 💙💙'.
One mum had even taken comfort in the same poem herself, 'Ah I have the same poem for my daughter next to her photo. Happy birthday Archie and big kiss for your mama xxxx 😚'
Kym has recently opened up about losing baby Archie after her Coronation Street storyline saw her character Michelle go through a stillbirth.
The 40 year old is keen to speak openly about her own loss after noting what a 'taboo subject' it can be.
Speaking previously on This Morning, she said, 'It's been a taboo subject for quite some time, it's time to talk about it.
'I gave birth to my little boy, I held him in his arms and he existed. He won't be on my family tree, because they wouldn't give a birth certificate. A birth certificate is not a big deal to them, but it matters a lot to us, to have that.'
