Kimberley Walsh and husband Justin Scott announce the name of their baby boy

Kimberley Walsh and her husband Justin Scott have finally revealed the name of their newborn son.

The Girls Aloud star and her hubby confirmed the arrival of a baby boy - a brother for their two-year-old son Bobby - on the 15th December, and now they've announced that they've chosen the name Cole Jacob.

Kimberley, 35, announced her son's arrival on her Twitter account to her 696k followers kast week, with the short and sweet message: 'We have another beautiful baby boy 👶🏽💙🎉 couldn't be happier 😍'

The new mum also confirmed the news to HELLO!, saying: 'We're all so happy, Bobby's so excited to be a big brother.'

Fans couldn't wait to congratulate the new parents, with one tweeting: 'oh my gosh Kimba congratulations to you and your lovely family! So so happy for you!❤️💙' and another adding: 'aw congrats gorgeous girl!!! So happy for you!!😘👌 the best day ever!! Lots of love and best wishes to all 4 of you ❤️'

Kimberley and former Triple 8 star Justin, who tied the knot in January 2016, first announced they were expecting back in June. They confirmed the news to HELLO!, explaining how they'd discovered the pregnancy not long after their wedding: 'We knew soon after we got married that we'd be very happy for baby number two to come along. When I first met Justin 14 years ago, I told him I wanted four children. We're both over the moon,' she said.

'Before I had even taken a test, I knew it instinctively. I wasn't suffering from morning sickness but telltale changes in my body made me certain I was expecting.

'When I took a home test early one morning to make sure, it confirmed what I'd already sensed. I was thrilled. The first thing I did was to wake up Justin and tell him, "You're going to be a daddy again!"'

It seems the star was getting impatient to meet her baby, sharing a cute bump pic to her Instagram account while wearing a Santa hat. Kimberley captioned the pic: 'Getting excited to meet this little one! #christmasbaby #ifonlysantacouldpopitdownthechimney 😂🎅🏻🎄👶🏼'
