Kim Kardashian praises doctors and nurses after son Saint West is hospitalised with pneumonia
The reality TV star's little boy with rapper Kanye West has made a full recovery and is now back at the family home
Kim Kardashian has opened up about her stressful end to 2017, which saw her son Saint West hospitalised with pneumonia.
A spokesperson confirmed to CNN that the toddler was under the care of medical professionals from Wednesday to Saturday last week.
'My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV's and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging', she wrote on Instagram.
'Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thank every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all!'
The black and white photograph Kim chose to share with her words was simply adorable and showed the reality TV star cuddling her son. Looking typically glamorous, Kim wore a body-hugging dress and her blonde hair in a poker-straight style.
Kim - who also has a four-year-old daughter named North with husband Kanye West and is currently expecting a third child via surrogate - was also thrilled to let her followers know that Saint has made a full recovery.
'He's home and all better. He's so resilient. I'm sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint', she concluded.

Fans were quick to express their relief for the tot, with one quipping: 'So glad to hear he's okay.'
While another told the 37-year-old about similar experience she went through with her own child.
'My oldest son has had several episodes of pneumonia the past year and a half. It's so hard to watch your children be sick, it really makes you feel helpless 😔 I'm a nurse and I still wish there was more I could do for him with how often he gets sick. Hope your little man gets well soon! @kimkardashian ❤️', the fan wrote on the comments section.
