Although Kim and Kanye had a close relationship with their surrogate and were on stand-by throughout the pregnancy to ensure everything went smoothly, Kim revealed that Kanye was perhaps a little too relaxed during the birth.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, Kim revealed that Kanye was playing a game in another room as the star's surrogate delivered their baby.

Although it wasn't actually Kim giving birth, she still wanted her sister Kourtney in the room for support. She explained: 'I made Kourtney be in the room. We had a connecting room and Kanye was in there playing Connect Four with his friends and not really paying attention.'
She continued: ''I was like, Kourntey I need you to be here with me cause I need ... if there's a medical something. You know, it's your sister ... you need a support system.'
Kim has always had a close relationship with her eldest sister Kourtney who is also a mum-of-three
Ellen quizzed the mum-of-three on how she found the surrogacy process and despite admitting that she was hesitant at first, Kim said in the end it was a good decision.
She said: 'It was honestly ... anyone that has ever been considering surrogacy, I always said kinda wait til I'm done, I want to see what this birthing experience was like.
'The moment she was getting that epidural I was like "thank god this is not me." It was so easy.'
Kim continued: 'She is so amazing. I've become good friends with her. she's so sweet ... it was such an easy experience.
'The second she [Chicago] came any fear that I had of "will I not have this connection ... will she not look like me" ... all of that goes out the door and instantly she's ours.'
