Grey's Anatomy star Kevin McKidd announces he's married AND expecting a baby

Scottish star Kevin McKidd has revealed that he got married to his partner, Arielle Goldrath, and that they're expecting a child together.

Taking to his website, the Grey's Anatomy actor told fans that he'd married partner Arielle Goldrath - before adding that the duo are also expecting a child together.

'Arielle and I are so happy to announce our marriage and new baby, who is soon to join our growing family', his statement started.

'My kids are happy for us too and are looking forward to the arrival of their newest sibling!'

The 44-year-old - who's best known for playing Dr Owen Hunt in the hit US medical show - then went on to reveal a few details about the couple's special day.

'Close friends and family came together with my Grey's family to share in our celebration day - an intimate, low key gathering culminating in a Scottish Ceilidh dance,' he continued.

'There's much to be grateful for and we're thrilled for the adventures 2018 will bring us all!'

Kevin accompanied his words with a sweet photo of the newlyweds beaming brightly as they make their way down the aisle after exchanging vows.

Keen to play homage to his Scottish roots, Kevin selected an olive green kilt and matching tailored jacket for the special occasion. A maroon tie added a pop of colour to his smart ensemble.

His new wife looked undeniably elegant in a boho-inspired lace gown featuring floaty sleeves and a plunging V-neck.

Arielle's growing baby bump was visible for all to see in the pretty form-fitting design.

The romantic-looking ceremony comes just months after Kevin's divorce to Jane Parker was finalised, in December 2016.

The pair were married for 17 years before they decided to call time on their relationship.

Together, Kevin and Jane are parents to a son named Joseph, 17, and a 15-year-old daughter called Iona.
