Kate Middleton's favourite thing to do with Prince George and Princess Charlotte is something all parents can relate to
The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed what she enjoys doing most with her children and it is something all parents will relate to.
The Duchess of Cambridge is perhaps one of the most famous mums in the UK and possibly even further a field.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will have to get used to being thrust into the spotlight but it seems mum and dad Kate and Prince William try their best to create a normal childhood for their children.
Therefore, it is unsurprising that one of Kate's favourite things to do with her children is to simply spend quality time with them.
For many parents, the special time between you and your child is something that is impossible to value and spending time together mindlessly playing and having fun is one of the best ways to spend your time.
Kate's sweet revelation came from an open letter she sent to support Children's Hospice Week. The theme of the week this year is Life's Short and Kate's letter was organised by Together for Short Lives, a leading UK charity for seriously ill children.
Kate has been a patron of the East Anglia Children's Hospice (EACH) since 2012 so this is a cause which is close to her heart.
Kate made her first speech as patron of EACH back in 2012

In her letter, Kate wrote: 'Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish.'
The Duchess of Cambridge also asked people to help support Children's Hospice Week in any way they can.
She wrote: 'Together we can champion the vital role that children’s hospices play in helping seriously ill children and families to have more precious moments.'
The Cambridges were last seen together at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's spectacular wedding, but 30-day-old Prince Louis missed out on the celebrations.
Kate looked wonderful at the ceremony and it was her first public appearance since giving birth to her third child Prince Louis.
Although Prince George looked unimpressed as he left the chapel, he was beaming in Prince Harry and Meghan's official wedding pictures released by Kensington Palace.
Princess Charlotte, as always, was a natural in front of the cameras and gave us another glorious wave!
