Kate Middleton stars in her first EVER magazine shoot with British Vogue

British Vogue have revealed the first ever cover story of Kate Middleton to celebrate their 100th anniversary issue.
The Duchess of Cambridge has previously declined any offers to partake in a magazine shoot, but features in a 10-page spread for the iconic fashion magazine this month, as well as being part of an art exhibition.
The photographs were snapped in January by esteemed photographer Josh Olins, near the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England. Kate and William have their country house Anmer Hall nearby, too, so no doubt that helped when it came to getting comfortable, natural-looking shots.
In all the pictures, mum-of-two Kate can be seen looking happy and glowing with a natural-looking tan, informal clothes, loose hair and subtle make-up.

Kate's famous for her fashion choices, and apparently had a say in what she wore in the shoot. In true Kate style she plumped for plenty of British brands, like the Burberry suede coat and crisp white shirt that she wears in the cover shot.
'It is a great honour and huge thrill to see HRH The Duchess of Cambridge wearing Burberry on this very special centenary edition of Vogue. We all feel very proud,' said Burberry's Christopher Bailey in a statement.

In other pictures from the spread the Duchess is seen wearing an affordable £35 Petit Bateau stripped tee and a vintage hat to offset the more expensive choices.
Two of the images feature in the Vogue 100 exhibit, which is currently being shown at the National Portrait Gallery, of which Kate has been a patron since 2012. Kate is due to visit tomorrow, Wednesday 4th May, to view the images.

Kate is following in the footsteps of her mother-in-law Diana who featured on Vogue's cover four times during her life and William's Aunt Anne, the Princess Royal, who has previously featured too.
