Jordan Banjo welcomes first son and reveals the baby boy's name
Jordan Banjo has become a dad for the first time as his girlfriend Naomi Courts gave birth to a little boy
Jordan Banjo and his girlfriend Naomi Courts have welcomed their first child together into the world.
Naomi gave birth on 7 May to a healthy little boy making Jordan Banjo's brother - Dancing on Ice host Ashely Banjo - an uncle!
Jordan, who is also a member of the Britain's Got Talent dance group Diversity alongside his brother Ashely, announced the news of his baby boy's birth on Instagram.
The 25-year-old father-of-one proudly posted a picture showing him carrying his son in his car seat as the new family of three left the hospital, and explained in the photo caption why the couple didn't announce their happy news straight away.
His caption said: 'Myself and @naomiella21 haven’t shared this straight away because we wanted to take some time to appreciate and enjoy the beautiful moment that we had as a family...but on the 07.05.2018 at 12:29am our beautiful son was born!'
Jordan continued: 'Words cannot describe the feeling of seeing your future come into this world. I’m so proud of mum & baby, both are doing absolutely amazing and @naomiella21 you are a super woman. If I didn’t know it before, I do now, I am the luckiest man there is. Welcome to the world Cassius Ashley Banjo.'
The couple's chosen name for their little boy may not very high on the top baby names list for 2018, but Cassius' middle name holds a very special significance for Jordan and his family - as his namesake is a nod to Jordan's brother Ashely.

Naomi also shared this picture of Jordan holding their little boy Cassius
Jordan and Naomi didn't decide on a name for their little boy straightaway, as just a month before Cassius was born, Jordan joked after the couple's baby shower that it was 'time for the name debate again'.
He said: 'So close now bubb @naomiella21 He’s going to be here before we know it, just a couple weeks😩❤🙈 Time for the name debate again, can’t call him baby boy forever🤔😅'.
Fans have been quick to congratulate the couple and many have written how much they love the name the couple finally decided on.
One wrote: 'Congratulations to all of you!!! Beautiful name. All the best for your future 😊😊'.
While another added: 'Awww love that you’ve given him Ashley as his middle name!! That’s so cute! Congrats guys!! X'.
