Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan reveals he was hands-on in the delivery room
Dad-of-two Jeffrey Dean Morgan has revealed that when it comes to how to deliver a baby, he is very much in-the-know after helping at the births of both his children.
Jeffrey and his wife Hilarie Burton welcomed their second child, daughter George Virginia Morgan on February 16.
The couple like to keep their family life private but Walking Dead star Jeffrey couldn't help but give some very personal details about the birth of his children recently.

During an interview with Howard Stern, the actor revealed that not only was he present at the birth of his children, he actually helped deliver the babies himself.
Jeffery told the radio host: 'I delivered the children. We went to a hospital to do it in case something were to go awry.'
At the time, Jeffrey didn't realise just how involved in the birthing process he would be.

He said: 'I had no idea. I thought I was just there to lend support, hold a leg and then we had a midwife and as soon as the baby started crowning, they kind just pushed me in there.'
Thankfully, both births went smoothly. The only slight mishap was during his son, Augustus's, birth where the actor had been less sure of what to do during the birth.

Jeffrey explained: 'The first one, Gus, I kind of waited too long to pull him out and he came out and his head was shaped like a cone. He got stuck in that no man's land a little bit too long.'
With daughter George's birth he new what to expect. He said: 'I was ready and as soon as she crowned, I grabbed her a little by the cheeks and pulled her out. Perfect.'
Despite 'perfecting' his role while his wife was in labour, Jeffrey's birthing days appear to be behind him as the couple do not plan on having any more children. The actor opened up about the couple's decision not to extend their family further following his wife Hilarie's honest confession about the couple's fertility struggles.
The actor revealed: 'We're tapping out. I'm 52...Two is perfect—a boy and a girl.'
'We tried for, since Gus was born, to have another and hit a rough go trying to...lost a couple. It was an emotional ride. So, now we have our little girl. We're done.'
