'I'm a beaten woman' - Giovanna Fletcher praised for brutally honest mum confession
Mum-of-two Giovanna took to Instagram to share the very relatable realities of being a mum
Giovanna Fletcher has won the hearts of mums everywhere, after sharing a brutally honest post about the realities of motherhood.
The mum-of-two, who's married to McFly star Tom Fletcher, shared a humorous and honest struggle that many other mothers will identify with, after she took her two children out alone for the first time.
The 31-year-old blogger shared a selfie of herself looking a little 'beaten' on Instagram, alongside a detailed account of her day with sons Buzz and Buddy.
It all started so well, with Giovanna being lulled into a false sense of security after 'The first hour was fab - they were laughing and playing together. Then they napped... Brilliant!'
However, in a twist that mothers everywhere will identify with, things suddenly turned trickier during a lunch date with friends Matt and Emma Willis.
'It all fell to pot. Buzz didn't want to stay in his seat and wouldn't listen to me. Buddy continuously moaned and then had a full blown meltdown (I think he's teething)... Now we're home they're laughing and playing again but I'm a beaten woman.'
The honest mum goes on to detail how, although there are messages out there on Instagram reading 'You got this Mama', it's okay to admit that sometimes you don't.

'Read someone's Instagram post that read "You got this Mama"... Today I don't feel "I got this".
She goes on to comment that even in the face of toddler meltdowns and tantrums, it's all part and parcel of '#mumlife', and she wouldn't change it.
'Although, if you think about it, only the last hour was a disaster and the rest was fab. So it was actually a 75% successful trip. Now time for dinner, bath and bed... The fun never ends! #mumlife #wouldntchangeit #ineedaliedown ❤️ xx'
Fans have been quick to praise the mum for her honest words, with one writing: 'This woman keeps me sane knowing that it's not just me. First time mother!! All my friends seem to make it look easy xx' and another adding: ' know how you feel. Some times I'm ready to hide under the bed after a bad day. Then I feel guilty and urgh...horrendous!! I hope you're having a better one today 👍🏻🌸xxx'
