Actor and Footballers’ Wives star Susie Amy has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
Amy posted a picture on her Instagram page of her blossoming baby bump and revealed that she is due to give birth in January alongside the cute snap.
She wrote in the caption: ‘For the first time - maybe in my life - I can’t wait for January!! ☺💖👶’.
The post has received over 5,000 likes and lots of people have commented congratulating her.
One person wrote: ‘You gorgeous thing! Looking beautiful @susieamy and hope you are feeling as good as you look 😀❤’.
Another said: ‘Congratulations.....!!!! Amazing!!! You look absolutely gorgeous. Can’t wait to meet him/her ❤’.

Amy starred on Footballers’ Wives Chardonnay Pascoe from 2002 to 2006. Her co-star Gary Lucy, who played her on-screen lover Kyle Pascoe, joked on the pregnancy reveal Instagram post and wrote: ‘F**k! Did we ? No ? S**t ?!!! (sic)’.
Other famous friends to comment on the post include presenter Jenni Falconer, who wrote: ‘Congratulations!!! You look gorgeous. X’.
Eastenders actress Lucy Benjamin commented: ‘I didn’t know. Fab news and you look amazing xxx’.
Amy made an appearance on Monday’s episode of Matthew Wright’s talkRADIO show and the host congratulated her on Twitter writing: ‘Damn good seeing @susieamy today: blossoming, blooming, beautiful. Wishing u all the best with your pregnancy. Not long to go now!!’
She replied: Thank you so much @Matthew_Wright ! And I couldn’t be more excited for you and @mrsameliawright the most wonderful news x’.
Matthew revealed his wife was pregnant after an eight-year struggle with IVF last month.
Amy has not revealed who the father of her child is and has kept her relationship status private since her split from rugby star Rob Kearney in 2012.
