Sky Sports presenter Hayley McQueen welcomes 'miracle' daughter with fiancé Kirk Newmann after fertility struggle
Hayley McQueen, a TV presenter on Sky Sports, has welcomed her first child with fiancé Kirk Newmann.
The new mum revealed the happy news on Instagram, with a series of gorgeous pictures taken right after their baby was born.
In the caption, Hayley revealed she had a baby girl, and the meaning behind the baby name they picked – Ayla.
She wrote, ‘Here she is! our darling baby daughter Ayla McQueen-Newmann, we couldn’t be more in love with her ❤️. The September baby that kept us waiting until October 3rd.
‘She arrived just in time for lunch, wide eyed, inquisitive & looks just like her daddy @kirknewmann & a healthy 8lb 2oz.
‘The name we chose couldn’t be more perfect for her with both Scottish & Turkish roots & my occasional nickname ‘Halo’. Completely besotted beyond words and feel utterly blessed.’
Many of the TV star’s fans and followers were quick to send congratulatory messages to the new mum, with fellow sports presenter Rebecca Lowe saying, ‘Over here bursting with happiness for you all!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️’.

Hayley had revealed she was pregnant with her first child back in April, with an emotional post on social media where she opened up about her battle with endometriosis that made it hard for her to get pregnant.
She wrote at the time, ‘I’ve spent a couple of years getting fertility help, sorting out horrific endometriosis once and for all & getting rid of pesky cysts.
‘Just as we we were about to embark on an ivf journey abroad I found out I was expecting, in fact, the very day I spoke to the embryologist to map out my cycle and dates was the day we found out. Kirk ever the optimist said it would happen naturally & we are so lucky that it did. It’s been an anxious few months but couldn’t be more excited for the new chapter in our lives.’
Congratulations to the new parents!
