Shay, who earlier this year starred in Netflix success You, announced her pregnancy back in June with an Instagram post displaying her baby bump.
Her sweet post was met with a massive response from fans and friends, with nearly five million likes on her photo.
She recently revealed to fans that she was expecting a baby girl, when she shared a series of snaps of her pink-themed baby shower with a ‘baby girl’ poster on the wall.
Opening up earlier this year in her YouTube series Almost Ready, Shay spoke about her previous miscarriage that she suffered from last year.
“The first time that I was pregnant last year, Matte and I hadn’t been planning,” she said. “But it happened and we were really excited about it. I was like 14 weeks, at that point, I had no idea the percentage of miscarriages. When it happened I was just, completely blindsided by it.”
“I still have those photos on my phone,” she continued, “and I still have all the doctor visits…and it’s weird because I haven’t looked at them, but it’s not like I forgot about that happening.”
Big congratulations to Shay and Matte on their new arrival!
